The studio is set up to do just about everything an artist or band needs to do. While we can’t track a drum set (actually, it is possible if I rented – or bought – some mics), we have some great options for drums. Tracking individual instruments including electric guitar, bass, acoustic guitar, vocals and whatever else you need is no problem and it’s really what the studio is designed for as far as tracking is concerned. The recording chain is high quality and versatile with some great outboard mic pre-amps and compressors along with a fantastic Focusrite audio interface (Clarrett 8PreX) which has some of the best sounding converters you could want.
Once all the recording is done, we can focus on production and mixing. With a variety of virtual instruments and lots of plug-ins of all types, we can get whatever sound you’re looking for. Our mastering services will give your music the level you need to compete commercially while maintaining dynamics which, for me, is more important than just being loud.
As a writer myself, I’m always happy to share my ideas and help with any writing chores that may be needed. I’m can also play guitar parts as well as some minor keyboard parts.
